Interesting question – I was shopping for microwaves a couple months ago and every one in the store had hinges on the left (and opening on the right). Good luck. I doubt you will find one.

I’ll manage.

I thought I found three but they turned out to be drawers.

My guess is because the majority of people are right handed.

I don’t think there are any microwaves that you can change the direction of the door like you can on refrigerators, washers, and dryers.

There are microwaves that open down like ovens. The ones I have had were built in wall units, but there might be a counter one.

They all open from the left if you are trying to get out.

According to this article and this article they do exist.

But, those and other articles I found, only recommend ones that open down, or that are just easy-ish to open, rather than left-hand models.

But this article , although it otherwise was making me start to hate the author (or AI) by the way it was written, did list the NEFF N70 C17WR01N0B, although it also said it’s a UK company and so they suggest contacting the company directly.

I see the Neff H382xW596xD318 N70 can also do it.

Turn it upside down. It will micro the same.

@Forever_Free Maybe, but you might want to do something like create a net so the plate-spinner can suspend and turn a plate hanging below it.

@Zaku yep. Like a mesh little hammock. I’m taking this idea to Shark Tank.
