I wear a baseball hat to work everyday. I googled it, seems like there are a few variations on them. Not sure mine is the “ball cap” variety but same thing in my opinion.

Ugh, no! I went to Olive Garden, many years ago, when someone invited, treated, and took me there for dinner. Average salad; so-so breadsticks; an assortment of main courses that were greasy and smothered in cheese. I was a gracious guest and thanked my host, but I never wanted to return.

TJBM hasn’t seen any snow this December and doesn’t miss it at all.

There’s no snow on the island where I live. To see that, I’d have to go to the Big Island where the very tall volcanoes are. You are correct that I don’t miss it even a little.

No, I’ve baked coffee cakes, which I give to friends and neighbors; so far, 12 done and delivered. Years ago, I found a killer recipe—people actually make yummy noises when they eat the cake—that I use often.

TJBM will see the Bob Dylan biopic on December 25th, which is what my husband and I will do. We’re going to an early show, followed by dinner at a Chinese restaurant.

I’d love to see it. I’ve been crushing on Joan Baez since I protested against the Vietnam War in ‘65, and Timothy Chalamet is one fine looking Dylan.
I’ll see it even if I have to pay with diamonds and rust, or if I can watch it on TV later next year. ;-p

TJBM is going to learn about hibiscus tree shrubs tomorrow.

Hibiscus blooms for one or two days only.

It needs warm temps to grow but can be cold hardy (seems like that depends on the type).

You want to prune it in late Winter.

Hibiscus can be made into tea and it can help with blood pressure.

They can be up to 16 feet tall.

They also need lots of sun and acidic soil.

Most are shrubs but you can prune them and let them grow into the shape of a tree.

There was a grown hibiscus tree at the house I bought in 1998. It was still going strong when we sold it in 2021 despite me mostly ignoring it.
