Now that President Musk is in power, how long do you think it will be before he becomes a trillionaire?

Probably a year or two.

Well Trump was correct on one thing the corruption in Government is unbelievable but it’s not coming from the left.
Now to answer your question I think he will achieve it before the end of Trump’s term.

Money is important to Musk, but it’s not his ultimate motivation.
Money helps him achieve his real goals.
But he is vastly different, from a person like Trump, living in golden towers and trying to build wealth out of insecurity, and greed.

Musk is only playing Trump, so he will have less obstacles in the pursuit of AI.
To a degree, Musk’s concerns that someone like China, beats the US to the technology, are legitimate.
Musk also needs to save Tesla, from being overtaken by his competitors. My understanding is Musk has faced severe backlash in Europe and Asia, and now America is his only current market for Tesla EVs.
With THAT knowledge, it would sure be nice, to be besties with the American president…Especially one so easily manipulated, and corrupt.

I wager most of the people who voted for Trump, aren’t even aware Trump vehemently opposed EVs, only months ago…

Musk will become a trillionaire about six years before becoming President of the World and about ten years before becoming Emperor of the Solar System.

As soon as Musk oversteps his bounds, Trump will kick him to the curb the way he has kicked to the curb everyone in the past who got too big for their britches. Right now they’re all buddy-buddy, chummy-chummy but that won’t last. I give it a year, max.

I think he will only be “president” for 6 or 7 months.

I’m not sure if he will hit a trillion in the next 4 years, but his wealth will certainly grow. How much will Musk charge the US government to use his space stuff? Regulations for houses to be built with his solar roofs and batteries could help him a lot too.

@MrGrimm888 I know Americans who completely flipped on ever buying a Tesla now that Musk is so closely associated with Trump. It doesn’t surprise me that Europe and Asia aren’t liking him so much, but I hadn’t thought of it until you said it. If tariffs on cars and car parts imports goes way up, Tesla might gain some market share back.

Based on his influence now, 2 years tops.

Next question is: How long will it be before Trump gets pissed off at Musk for taking all his attention, and they break up?

My guess: Sooner than you think.

^^Not only that, but Trump has said a few things to make fun of Musk, so Musk might get sick of that if Trump continues in the vein.

I think it will be 5–6 years before he reaches a trillion. That’s a very big number.
