Has any other head of state said "I'm going to act stupid just to piss people off?
So many people are insisting that Trump acts like an idiot just to get people’s goat, and he giggles about it because he’s not REALLY dumb
Don’t world leaders have more important things to focus on than being silly just to be silly?
Has any other US President done such a thing to prove their superiority?

It is tradition in North Korea.
On Monty Python, there was the Silly Party. That’s about as close as I can recall, and it’s a comedy fiction sketch.
If thats true he should have an Oscar
Ronald Regan trolled the atheists, Democrat’s, and communists. For giggles.
How @RedDeerDude? I voted for him and I never saw that.
@Dutchess_III Google “Ronald Regan jokes”, YouTube. YouTube is full of his jokes. Sorry that I don’t have a link as I am on my phone.
Ronald Reagan wanted the Surgeon General to lie about abortions and say they harm women and puts them at risk for infertility after the abortion.
He didn’t want to warn the public about HIV, because it was a “gay disease.”
He didn’t want the SG to tell the public about using condoms because evangelicals want to only promote abstinence.
He significantly increased the deficit, real wages went down, all sorts of bad.
Reagan said at one point Medicare and Medicaid are Maxist and would eventually destroy the country.
Reagan didn’t use dumbed down speech to the extent that Trump does, but he used dog whistles for the evangelicals to help get himself elected and was somewhat controlled by the religious right or he believed some of that stuff himself.
Bullshit that the deficit grew under him?
Bullshit that his administration called HIV the “gay plague?”
Bullshit that he did a lot of deregulation and hurt unions?
Reagan was pragmatic on some things, but he did play to the religious right.
@Dutchess_III
Your immediate defensive stance to defend a person now-widely known as a terrible person.
I assume you’re an older person, so grew up being told Reagan was a great guy etc.
I apologize if I’m wrong. It’s just incredibly common with some older folks.
Ow. First I’ve heard of that.
All I really know about Regan is that Nancy pulled the strings. Probably because he was facing onset dementia. But I learned that much later.
I just know that I did vote for him. I didn’t pay much attention after that.
If I had a president hero it would be Obama. And especially Michelle.
^^Why did you vote for Reagan? Were you a Republican then?
I voted for who ever I thought ws the best candidate. I voted for Carter first. And then Reagen. I voted Bush Sr, then for Bush Jr. (mistake).
Of course I voted for Obama, duh.
But I watched in growing horror at the sickening reaction of the Republicans over a black man becoming president! I could not believe it!
It was at that point I became a die hard Democrat because apparently Rebublicans are assholes. Except for John Cain.
And that was that. I’ll never vote for another Republican again.
Trump knows if he says crazy shit, it’s going to get him a lot of publicity, which it does. I don’t think any other past president was so relevant for four years after his term was over, but Trump remained relevant and staged a comeback. I am not saying I like him, but you have to give him credit for his ability to rally his base up and keep lots of people on both sides talking about him. He wasn’t forgotten after he left like others in the past were.
