Probably. I just heard there was an explosion in front of a trump hotel in Vegas. It was a Tesla truck and is believed to be the act of a terrorist.
Seven injured and the driver is dead.

OH the Tesla was rented from the same “El Toro” car rental as the New Orleans F-150 in Texas. . . ? ?

I just googled it and both were rented from Turo. Turo is one where you rent the vehicle directly from the owners.

@chyna
Are you sure the Tesla didn’t just explode because it is a piece of shit?

The surprising thing is that the New Orleans terrorism was done by a person with an Arab surname and was connected to ISIS..

I was expecting an uneducated, poorly-groomed white male in his late 20s wearing a MAGA hat and with a truck that had an Idaho or MOntana license plate.

Well….it was an attack by a mad man.
When I hear “terrorist” I think an attack by the Middle East.
People are just getting crazier and in a way social media excuses it. At least that’s what the crazy people feel.

@elbanditoroso This was similar to the one in Germany from about three weeks ago.

I am not calling anyone a racist nor wanting to start that debate. I just want to put FBI definitions of terrorism because I want to avoid any argument on race.

I keep seeing it called terrorism or terror attack

Again, Dutchess, I am not attacking you for saying your first thought is someone from the middle east is the perpetrator. Because honestly, you are not the minority.

I just want to clarify it for others who may have the same association.

It does seem that this suspect might be from the middle east, but they are saying he was a veteran

So in this case, the assumption might not be wrong. An ISIS flag was also on the truck.

If the New Orleans was an Islamist motivated terrorist attack against the US, homegrown or not, seems like it’s nothing new.

What is intriguing is the Tesla vehicle explosion outside a trump hotel.

I totally thought the Cybertruck, was an unrelated random explosion. I didn’t even look into it…

Short answer, is yes.
As long as there is organized religion, there WILL be violent extremists…
Religion is not a requisite, for a terrorist. But, it can turn a screwy person into a weapon of mass destruction.

I would add that, although I love our veterans, they often are a potential source of mental illness related violence.
The training, and the horrors of war, change people…
It’s only human, to struggle, when people have been involved with war.

The Gaza invasion by Israel, and it’s US support, seems not to have made us any friends…..

No matter how much Trump may ever desire, the conservatives in the US government would NEVER allow Trump to waiver his support for Israel. IF he wanted to….

One thing we know, is that western involvement in ME issues, produces planned attacks on the US mainland.
Not all, are thwarted by our intelligence agencies.

I’m POSITIVE Trump may say he has this 100% under his control.
I’m equally positive, that he is wrong.
The coming weeks, months, years, will be very eventful.
Expect more attempts…

@ragingloli Albeit “Cybertrucks” being crap, this explosion was the fireworks mortars that it was full of exploding, not spontaneous crapsplosion.

Given Trump supporters are moving towards the extreme is anyone surprised that other ideologies are also moving towards to the extreme.

Sad, yet expected. You have a lot of men out there not getting laid and watching political bait videos all day.
