Why couldn't someone reply Happy New years?

Maybe he just didn’t want to respond.

Why was he looking at my story.

Sometimes you flip through things quickly, but don’t have time to reply to things.

You unsent it so he probably assumed it was a mistake.

Sometimes I see messages and don’t respond right away, especially on a holiday where I would be busy. So he might have come back and it is gone.

Also, who knows about the story

Like I said, sometimes people read and either forget or just respond later. He probably forgot.

If he had already seen the message, why would you bother to unsend it?

People have unsent messages to me, and I literally ignore it. I assume it was a mistake of some sort, especially if they never follow up.
