Why sweet, @SergeantQueen ? I think you’re transferring your human emotions to an inanimate object.
I would say the opposite – it would be sour. Why? Sour apples don’t taste as good to humans and other animals that eat them. As a result, a sour apple has a much longer likelihood of longevity (It wouldn’t be eaten as quickly, like a sweet one would have been).
Therefore from the standpoint of survival of the species, sour apples would be beneficial in the long run.
If the apple was Brick Top : “No thank you Turkish, I’m sweet enough.”
Well, I wasn’t thinking survival. Like if I could somehow taste myself I’d want to be sweet. I don’t like sour stuff.
It would want to be whatever makes it more appealing to animals so they spread the seeds. Which is probably sweet.
Sounds a bit cannibalistic.
It would depend on it’s personal taste buds and how the different flavors makes it feel.
