Did you know that peeing together is a power behavior?
See this article about what they call ‘contagious peeing’.
I think this is something we all sort of knew, but finally there is science behind it.

It was always for safety as a younger woman. Getting cornered in a club bathroom was rather common.
^^^ same. Or not even making it to the bathroom if you were alone. I hated how the emergency exits were alway right by the woman’s room.
Sounds more like a male dominance thing @elbanditoroso. Not for women tho. We’re in positions of extreme vulnerablity.
Maybe that’s why public bathrooms for men are set up so that all the guys have to pee with other men looking. I’ve always wondered about that….That may well the answer.
Interesting.
@Dutchess_III Yes and I cant count the number of distressed women we helped in the bathrooms over the years. Drunk, abused, kidnapped/not free to leave or something.
Yeah. I know.
One gal needed to GO but all the stalls were in use. So she peed in sink! Mmmmkay!
Prior to the 1983 Boston marathon they didn’t have porta-potties for the 6 thousand runners. There was a sign saying, “Standing Room Only” out front of a tarp blind. On the other side of the tarp was a long, narrow shallow trench dug into the ground. I went inside to pee and there were at least a dozen runners on either side of the trench peeing into the trench. Worked well except one guy peed on my shoe and one guy dropped his glove into the trench filled with pee. HA!
Reminds me of an old Adidas running shoe commercial, “Runners. Yea we’re different!” HA!
