General Question

I have a NSFW hygiene question (REALLY NSFW question)?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (25061points) 5 hours ago

My rear has been hurting and bleeding for years now, and I am getting desperate.

What are some options that I can try?

Like chapstick, (tried) gold bond medicated powder, vassiline, (tried) ordering more expensive toilet paper,
I will talk to my doctor on the end of the first week of February.

I took a hot bath, and it helped.

Suggestions welcome.

I’m afraid that you have what doctors call “hemorrhagic chapped anus syndrome,” or HCAS.
HCAS affects ALL people, who eat ultra-processed food.
Unfortunately. That is the only, affordable food…

Chap stick, is mostly petroleum jelly.
That shouldn’t hurt.
Before applying anything, make sure the area is very clean and dry.
I’m tempted to suggest Preparation H type stuff.

I’d rather you get medical advice, from a doctor. However. Since it’s been happening for years, I suspect it’s not too serious.

It may be ideal, to wipe with aloe kleenex. Obsessive wiping, will dry the mucous membranes out.

But in all seriousness, it’s likely a combination of diet, and your bathroom habits.
I believe genetics, play somewhat of a role. As I know people who have a similar problem, or at least similar symptoms. They claim their fathers had it too…

I would say talk to the doctor.

Have you had a colonoscopy lately?
