Here is one article on it.
I feel it is a miscarriage of the constitution.
I don’t want ANYONE, even a candidate that I back to hold office for 3 terms.
What do you think?

I’m waiting for it is okay for a South African (white GUY) to be Vice President ! ! ! !
And Barron is El Hefe, if DJT Sr dies.
Trump would be so old, he’d be older than Biden.
Totally expected. It’s not a miscarriage of the Constitution, but following it. It’s dead in the water and a waste of time though, because you need ⅔ majority of Congress plus ¾ of all the states. It’s performative politics.
I just read this:
Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) proposed an amendment Thursday that would allow presidents three terms in office β as long as they did not serve two consecutive four-year stints.
That would allow a third term for Trump β whose two were interrupted by Joe Biden β but not for Obama, Clinton or George W. Bush, who each served two consecutive terms.
Totally not surprising that he worded the Bill to omit Obama, Clinton and George W.
I’m not in favor of it. And I doubt it would come to fruition anyway. It would require ⅔rd of the House and Senate to approve it. They are battling on everything with 1 or 2 votes carrying the day. I can’t see half the Democrats suddenly agreeing with Republicans on anything that would directly impact them as much.
A similar move in Russia destroyed democracy and left Putin as dictator. If Americans can unite on anything anymore it is surely that this is a bad idea.
Its only an amendment to an amendment. No big deal.
They’re nuts.
And not in a good way.
