Who was this woman at the inauguration?

Asked by Jeruba (56195points) 1 month ago

She was wearing a solid-color red dress, was heavy, had messy partly blond hair, did not appear to be with anyone, and was afforded a seat on the platform close to the highest-ranking spectators. She arrived late and almost looked like she’d wandered into the wrong party.

Vance’s mom.

What? Yikes. Well, thanks for ID.

I wouldn’t want to be there either. I’d be paranoid that everyone was looking at me thinking “So that’s the unfit mother who raised that trash.”

Vance’s crack whore mom.
Hey, he wrote a book about her!

@filmfann The lastest update is that the inauguration marked her 10th year of sobriety. But don’t let that make you feel bad for blasting a Republican’s relation.

Dutchess_III's avatar

No. That is important @seawulf575. But really irrelevant.

seawulf575's avatar

@Dutchess_III Irrelevant except when someone is calling her a crack whore in an effort to get a dig in at Vance.

Vance achieved his fame by calling his Mom a crack whore.
He did it to himself.

^Yes. In a book! He can’t take it back now.

I looked it up. He said the IMMIGRANTS made her do it!

@filmfann Did he call her that? I don’t think so. He wrote a book about his life and said his mom was a nurse and a drug addict and that she started by getting addicted to painkillers. So your interpretation is both insulting and heartless. But what would I expect? You are a lefty.

And you refer to her in the present tense. She’s been clean for 10 years. Another thing you got wrong and you still can’t admit to how callous you are.
