In your opinion how will the American public react if Trump does invade Greenland, or Panama?
Just wondering?
Wonder if they care how the States will look like on the world stage if it did happen?

The normal half will react with horror and dejection, the other half will cheer, and come up with braindead rationalisations, justifications and excuses.
The idiots will support it.
Normal people will say that starting wars is not wise – in almost all recent wars, the initiator loses. Starting a war is not a strategic winner.
I’d be surprised and dismayed, as Reps are not the warmonger party.
fucking lol.
Went through a list of wars the colonies are/were involved in, and before I stopped, the only president who was not involved in one was Jimmy Carter.
Both parties are warmongering parties. The only difference between you is which wars you support.
^ re: Carter, see East Timor
@KNOWITALL – You know that these are not just tv personalities, right? These are all the same people waging the same brutal foreign policy. It doesn’t stop when a “D” or “R” admin changes.
I’d be disappointed for sure. One of the reasons Trump got elected is because he had no new wars on his watch and was ending the last of the ones he inherited. Now he has 2 that he has inherited and Americans don’t want more war.
But it should be noted that Trump cannot just unilaterally attack another nation. That is a declaration of war and that required Congress to approve it.
The MAGA hats will cheer him on and ask for more countries. SMDH
Maybe Czechoslovakia and Poland next ? ? “IYKYK
They will be renamed Trumpland and Panamaga respectively by executive order.
He has no interest in invading. Trump trolls and stirs the pot like this to get things he actually wants on the table.
The people involved that will have their lives ruined or worse are more important.
What some frumpy Americans think doesn’t matter.
Probably the same thing Germans thought about Poland in 1939
@seawulf575 you care conveniently forgetting the undeclared war in Vietnam
@elbanditoroso Yes, but Congress authorized military action in Viet Nam. This is pretty much the same thing that happened when Obama attacked ISIS inside Syria. So you are correct, I did misspeak, so to speak, but the effect is the same. Trump would need congressional approval, be it an authorization to use military action or a declaration of war. But I really don’t see either of these even coming to that point. Panama might come closer is China decides to try establishing a military presence there.
Can’t speak for the collective, but I would think he’s nuts.
We should not be taking on more people we cannot take care of. Small population or not. Leave them be.
@seawulf575 The Executive Orders from the last ten days show that Trump doesn’t give a rats ass about the Constitution, never has, and believes the immunity decision by the Supreme Court means he can ignore Congress.
If he tells Hegseth to invade Panama, the DoD will take out the Miraflores locks and sent up command in the former Trump Hotel in Panama City.
@zenvelo Despite your beliefs, Trump does care about the Constitution. He also cares about the country. And your understanding of the immunity decision is so out to lunch it isn’t worth discussing.
