I’m sick of reading about the US. Tell me something good or bad that’s happening politically by you?

On the other hand, the Neonazi party AFD is projected to become second strongest party in the next election, and the current government is too much of a pussy to initiate procedures to ban them.
Tanglewood announced their summer season.
More BSO, John Williams, Bonnie Raitt, Graham Nash, Barenaked ladies, etc
We’re entertaining the thought of referring to the US as South Canada, and Alaska as Northwest Canada.
All cute but I kinda want to hear from Jellies in other countries.
@Brian1946 Am I right that you are from Canada originally?
We are sourcing other trading countries, and have found ones that want our oil and LNG, and another that wants our aluminum, I’m glad our government is looking so Canada won’t held hostage by the evil dictator on our southern border.
@janbb Yes, we moved here from Canada about 70 years ago.
I became a naturalized US citizen in 1966, and I think my Canadian citizenship was restored in 2009.
@SQUEEKY2 I would have thought all the trades and other businesses in our country would be up in arms about the tariffs. I don’t know who they are good for.
@Brian1946 I thought so.
Organized criminals in Canada are now stealing food. Like $1,000 ,000 worth of olive oil, and some eggs.
It’s looking likely that Council Tax (property tax) will increase by 10% after years of no change.
@RedDeerGuy1 Well that’s one way to get the focus off of drugs, gambling, prostitution, immoral hunters like the one @jca2 mentioned above, etc.

Cacoocoowahcacoocoocoo! Hey hoser, are you going to the Queen Haters reunion concert in Ottawa? ;-p
Yes I am, rug muncher, and stay away from me back bacon while I’m gone!
Good update: Sir Kier Starmer, PM of U.K announced today that he is making a step towards de privatisation of the NHS. In the last 15 years or so there was a big shift of privatisation of the medical services and handing out external contracts. The government now wants to reverse this so its more democratic and government led/funded. We’re hopeful this will mean a much needed pay rise to doctors and nurses, and it will also mean shorter queues and waiting lists.
Bad update: The weather patterns and shifts are not great. I’ve noticed a decrease in local bird populations, and foxes aren’t as active as they used to be. This constant shift between hot and cold and changing of temperatures and seasons is also affecting plants (spring flowers blooming too early and then dying) and I’m concerned and sad.
@MilkyWay That’s very interesting about the NHS. And all the foxes seem to have moved over to New Jersey – we’re seeing a lot around in recent years.
