Trump probably doesn’t want 26–40 more Democrats in Congress.

I still wouldn’t live there
I still wonder if Trump is a hidden Democrat trying to ruin the Republican party?
Trump might be doing everything at once before he gets removed from office? By congress or by heart attack?
Most Canadians live below the 49th parallel. In Ontario. It’s cold in the rest of Canada.
If Canada joins the USA, then most Canadains will move south and empty the country into the USA part.
Distraction! He needs to distract from the Musk boys adding hacks into every govt computer system. I am imagining that random SS checks will be a few percentage short every month. That would easily result in savings that no one will be able to chase down and fix.
It is sort of. It’s his negotiating style. He has no intention of it becoming the 51st state.
I thought that renaming the Gulf of Mexico was a distraction until it happened.
The way Trump sees it, Canada will have two senators and some number of representatives. As if the whole country counted as one US state.
Now, why would Canadians ever go for such a thing? They have provinces and territories, each of which having their own governance. And Quebec – can you imagine the backlash if the Quebeckers lose their French identity?
Trump doesn’t want Canada for the peoples’ sake – he wants it for minerals and petroleum and precious metals and all the riches he can plunder.
I can’t wait for the US Army to launch a raid and take over Toronto!
Or maybe, he will move all the Canadians to Gaza??
Needs to be Puerto Rico instead.
