Do you have a favorite song from a TV show?

I can think of some iconic ones, not necessarily that they’re my favorites, but All in the Family, Friends, The Jeffersons, Brady Bunch (I’m showing my age by mentioning the majority of the four lol).

Of all the TV shows out there, do you have a favorite song?

I didn’t watch the show, but House used Massive Attack’s “Teardrop” as the opening song.

“A horse is a horse, of course, of course,
and no one can talk to a horse, of course,
Unless, of course, the horse’s name is the famous Mr. Ed”.

That one always gets stuck in my head when I think of it.

I have quite a few. Picking just one would not make sense to me.

Knight Rider may be the one for me, but I reserve the right to change my mind if a better one pops into my head.

The cartoon The Legend of Zelda (1989) , has the coolest introduction.

For sure.

The music theme from Moonlighting. So love that song by Jarreau. It always triggers in me a hazy pleasurable sensation of cruising through the streets of LA at night.

The theme song Keep Your Eye on the Sparrow from Baretta sung by Sammy Davis Jr.

Theme music for The Love Boat, St. Elsewhere, Hawaii Five-O, SWAT, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Incredible Hulk ( Bill Bixby ), Superfriends, Magnum PI…and that early Spiderman animated series with the theme that sounded like a James Bond theme.

One that to me, is iconic and reminds me of my childhood is the Flintstones theme song:

@seawulf575 I used to love Mr. Ed!
@mazingerz88 I loved Baretta but I never knew that song was sung by Sammy Davis Jr. That’s something new I learned today.
@Zaku Hawaii Five-O is another one from my childhood. Just hearing it brings me back to the living room and the TV set.
