Has anyone read the details of Gene Hackman's death?

Asked by janbb (63356points) 2 hours ago

We know he was 95 when he was found dead in his house yesterday. But his 63 year old wife and apparently the dog was also dead. The reports said no foul play is suspected. So – how did they all die?

Inquiring minds want to know.

RIP Gene Hackman

Maybe carbon monoxide poisoning.

Or more likely: Aliens.

Seems rather sketchy details coming out. I will wait and weigh in once everything is made official. In a way, it may be none of our business.

RIP To Gene, his wife, and the German Shepard.

Carbon monoxide

@MakeItSo1701 Did you read that or just guessing? It would make sense.

I am not stating it as fact. I heard the details and thought of it. I mean, unless they were all poisoned or took something to kill themselves and their dog, how does a whole household just die with no signs of foul play?

I am always editing to add because my brain cannot do it all at once apparently: The dog also dying is the main thing pointing me to think like that. Would Occam’s razor apply?

^^ It does sound likely but waiting to read more.

I read that another dog was in the residence alive.

IT clearly had to be either poisoning or aliens. Assuming it’s not aliens, then it’s poisoning. The question is what was the poisoning, and was it accidental or intentional?

I assumed it was carbon monoxide as soon as I heard, either intentional or an accident. I had no idea his wife was so young.

How can there be no information about what was found? All three dying together, I would think the cause of death would be easy to ascertain.

A friend of mine lost two friends (a married couple) when they left their car running in the garage. The carbon monoxide got into the house.
