What bit of bad luck have you had recently that lead to something good?

Yesterday, as I was watching TV, it seemed a spider bit the palm of my hand. Once I took care of the bite, I decided to vacuum the sofa all around and inside the cushions and wash the throw pillows and throw blanket.

Well, for about 2 months now, I haven’t been able to find my grandmother’s wedding band. I thought I had lost it for good, and I finally found it under the cushions. I never thought to look there because I always remove my jewelry in my bathroom or bedroom or sometimes in the kitchen, always on a counter or in a jewelry box or ring dish.
I was in such a happy mood all day yesterday even though I had a bite and never found the sucker. I’m hoping he was squished and died and I didn’t notice his dead body being sucked into the vacuum.
