So how soon before China takes Taiwan as we spiral down the drain?

Since Trump has shown the world that the US cannot be counted on for ally support, I figure China will make a bold move towards Taiwan. Especially since Trump has increased tariffs to China and capturing Taiwan will further enrich China, and China can increase it water territory as well. I don’t see a downside for them. Trump would be seen as terrible by his MAGA crowd if he drags us into a war over Taiwan (because they don’t understand how important Taiwan is to the US), so he will just roll over while saying he is strong and saving American lives.
No doubt there will be another show, of course. Taiwan what can you give to us to guard you? Taiwan can say that it will give everything, and he will claim that they were disrespectful and that he wants peace and hands over Taiwan to China.
