Is the Great American Experiment a real experiment?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (25224points) 1 month ago

To find out if the effects of capitalism, democracy and rights and freedoms were positive, negative, or neutral?

Does an actual document declaring the “Great American Experiment” exist?

What are your opinions on it?

Are democracy, capitalism and rights and freedoms better than other systems?

What are the results?

The current experiment seems to be how terrible a POTUS can be without losing all their supporters. How low can they go?

@Zaku I think the current experiment is testing the resilience and efficacy of the so called ‘separation of powers’ and ‘checks and balances’. Not going so well.
