Happy first day of spring! What is brightening your day?

My day is brightened by people planning things for me tomorrow for my birthday. It is very cheering to be thought of so well by these folks.

And anticipating cake is always a bright spot!

Had a 6oz bowl of fresh raspberries.

I actually woke up early today. Have I been productive? No. But I woke up early. (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

Perfect blood pressure and bloodwork fine.

My screen picture this morning was a shot of light yellow daffodils and grass with the bright sun as a backdrop shining through the flowers; it was taken at ground level. Sent it to a few people.

Today was stressful and a little sad for me. If I need to name something happy and bright, I did appreciate opening my windows and the fresh air coming through.

The weather was actually weird today. March in Florida is usually dry and springtime temps; basically beautiful; but instead it was overcast the first half of the day. Then in the afternoon it started to get very windy and dark and I thought it was going to storm, but the rain never came. An hour later it was sunny.

As for me: Yesterday my son picked about 30 oranges from the branches of our neighbor’s tree that hang over our yard. He juiced them and filled a gallon jug about ⅔ full. Today the juice was well chilled and surpassingly delicious: lusciously sweet and just tart enough to be tangy. I like pulpy orange juice, so he let it be thick. Starting the day with that (plus an English muffin and some string cheese): well, for ten minutes everything was right with the world.

Being back on my account after having issues for a long time.

Since last year, I have found some friends who really appreciate my art. One of them, who I met very recently, is extremely active on the comment section. Today I posted my latest artwork and she promoted it on her Story. That was totally unexpected and pleasant for me.

The reason why I’m not very active here is because, apart from work, I have been really focused on my art and my friends. Considering that I was depressed for some time and couldn’t draw anything, this is really a vast improvement I’m also waiting for Hawaii’s how are you thread to share my full story :D

I really want to share my art with everyone here but I’m a bit afraid that the subject matter won’t be suitable for some of you.

@canidmajor I draw mostly supernatural themes. Nothing offensive really, I just don’t know if some of you are comfortable with that.

^^You can describe it when you post the link and jellies can choose to click on the link or not. Are they depicting violence or explicit sex acts?

@JLeslie that’s a good idea! I don’t draw anything violent or overly sexual. My drawings are more surreal and comedic actually. I was just not sure if some of you would be comfortable with the supernatural depiction.
