So exactly when did enemies become allies, and allies become enemies ?

When you have a common enemy you become allies.

I guess it depends on who you’re talking about. I don’t believe the vast majority of Americans view Canada as enemies. They’re the pretty country north of us. That’s why I get pissed off when people put America down…like WE have a CHOICE now that an ass is in power? People are way too personal. It’s my country with millions of different opinions, not me. Think of us as people, not a huge conglomerate…we’re just individuals, like anyone else.

WW2. We allied with the USSR then after the war we became enemies and where enemies until 1991 when the USSR collapsed then we where friends until Putin came to power and we have always remained enemies ever since. Now during times when countries are enemies it isn’t common to try and work on relations. Basically when a two enemy countries have a common enemy they become friends like the USA and USSR or create a non-aggression pact like Germany and the USSR. When friends become enemies it could be because one got a different government compared to the other or when a country attacks the other country or its allies.

It has happened throughout history.

Since the beginning of time for all creature great and small.

Banding together is an instinctual method of survival.
