Never use biometric login.
the more you store on the phone, the more than can be stolen from you and used to fake your identity.
Minimum is best.
@elbanditoroso – that’s why I don’t attach a MagSafe wallet to my phone. If I lost my phone, I’d lose my cash, credit cards, health care card, and driver’s license.
When texting about upcoming attacks against foreign countries, don’t add journalists to the Signal chat group.
Turn off “Location Service” when you aren’t currently using it for something you need. (It wastes battery power, and is used to track and record your every movement). You might also want to turn off “Mobile Data” when not using it, for similar reasons.
When returning to the US from travel abroad, upload your travel pictures etc to a server. Then do a factory reset and data wipe on your mobile devices before returning to the Land of the “Free.”
@filmfann Maybe don’t add Russians to your military group chats, either.
Change it from 5g to 4g. You’re welcome.
@SnipSnip rather than just giving terse answers, how about some explanation of your thought process. Why should your advice be heeded?
Some phones are very insistent on using 5g. In areas were 5g is poor but 4g is good, those phones will have poor performance unless you turn off 5g. Performance would be much better on 4g in those areas.
