What do you think about my theory about the nature of the Greys?

Asked by luigirovatti (3026points) 3 days ago

I’m warning you, this theory is extremely controversial. I tried posting it on reddit, but was deleted. I’ll try my luck here.

My theory is that the Greys are soul eaters.

Proof: 9 years ago, Tom DeLonge made an AMA on Reddit, he specifically said the Greys wanted “something to do with the human soul.”

Well, for me they want to suck it up bit by bit. All that horrendous technology they use to torture the abductees serves to extract their soul and live forever. The link with the hybrids I don’t know though. But, if this is true, I’d guess the greys are not immortals but want immortality in the body, and have a desperate need to prolong their life indefinitely.

If the greys land on our planet, we can be harvested for their longevity.

This simply means there’s no current technological way to achieve physical immortality in the whole universe.

If you think about animism, it follows that they can eat the soul of plants, minerals, even rocks. Because everything has a soul (I agree). They simply abduct humans because they’re more alive. They have more potential inside of them. The more they’re evolved, the more the aliens eat.

For the record, I think the Greys are extraterrestrials. Also, the deal with the devil the government did with the aliens cannot be retracted. Now the human race is destined to succumb to the aliens’ wishes. I concede that the aliens don’t abduct humans much anymore, maybe the US government is holding them off, but there are ways to attract them to our planet (black magic?).

We could also argue the growing fervor and low blows in politics and entertainment are a subliminal psyop designed to target the greys who reside in 4d/5d vibration and to inform them they’re not welcome on planet Earth (because we show more life than ever, the greys expect less resistance), and to move out to some other planet, but this is purely speculation. Kind of like “They Live”, but with the skeletons replaced by the greys.

Tom Delonge is kind of notorious for being a fraud, so I would not take anything he says seriously. The whole field of ufology is awash with hucksters out to make a quick quid from easy marks.
Anyway, I think it is hogwash, on account of souls not being real.
An unsupported conflation of the concept of aliens with mysticism, taking it further outside of the realm of scientific inquiry.
In that, it is similar to people claiming the ability of “remote viewing”, where they claim to be able to telepathically view the inside of extraterrestrial bases.
Or Steven Greer, who claims he can teach you, for a fee, to summon UFOs with your mind.

I dont discount all UFO’s, but I have no particular enthusiasm or belief either. I do believe everything from trees to animals have souls so anything is possible.

Point by point:

* “My theory is that the Greys are soul eaters.”
– Ok. Maybe. I’ve seen no evidence Greys exist though. Is this a theory about reality, or a theory for some fiction?

* “Proof: 9 years ago, Tom DeLonge made an AMA on Reddit, he specifically said the Greys wanted “something to do with the human soul.””
– That’s not proof. That’s something someone said. Someone who even UFO fans tend to say is making stuff up for attention. And there’s no proof in what you wrote. And even if it were entirely true, only says “something”.

* “Well, for me they want to suck it up bit by bit. All that horrendous technology they use to torture the abductees serves to extract their soul and live forever.”
– I doubt that is how souls, or longevity, function.

* “But, if this is true, I’d guess the greys are not immortals but want immortality in the body, and have a desperate need to prolong their life indefinitely.”
– Maybe in some fiction.

* “If the greys land on our planet, we can be harvested for their longevity. This simply means there’s no current technological way to achieve physical immortality in the whole universe.”
– I don’t think this has coherent logic even in any fictional theory. What would “landing on our planet” have to do with harvesting souls for longevity? Why would it “simply mean” that “there’s no current technological way to achieve physical immortality in the whole universe.”? I don’t see the logic. For one thing, it’s a preposterous leap from some alien who can somehow get here but has trouble doing things very effectively or anonymously, to also have reach to “the whole universe”! For another, who says “Greys” even have a lifespan problem, or care about it?

* “If you think about animism, it follows that they can eat the soul of plants, minerals, even rocks.”
– I DO think about animism. I DON’T think about “eating” souls. Why do you? Animism is about tuning into spirits, not “eating” them.

* “Because everything has a soul (I agree). They simply abduct humans because they’re more alive. They have more potential inside of them. The more they’re evolved, the more the aliens eat.”
– Uh. If this is for some game or fiction that presumes your ideas, ok.

* “For the record, I think the Greys are extraterrestrials. Also, the deal with the devil the government did with the aliens cannot be retracted. Now the human race is destined to succumb to the aliens’ wishes. I concede that the aliens don’t abduct humans much anymore, maybe the US government is holding them off, but there are ways to attract them to our planet (black magic?).”
– The US government currently can’t handle a moronic ass-clown infiltration at the highest level. So I’d laugh at that even in a game or story at this point.
– I think it’s pretty bizarre to go to all the trouble of (making up or otherwise) an idea about Greys mainly wanting to harvest human souls for longevity, to then them still being around but not doing that much. Why not? I mean, you could invent some other imaginary baseless idea, like maybe they’re making progress developing their longevity tech, or something, but it all sounds like fictional nonsense to me.

I find the greys in Resident Alien (the TV comedy series) more believable, but still ridiculous.

Who are the Greys?

luigirovatti's avatar

@Zaku: Only thing I can say is, the Greys are more technologically advanced than us. If they’re really seeking immortality as I claim, it would be foolish to say another civilization has shared with them the way to do it.

It’s nearly impossible to separate the truth from the bullshit here, and there is A LOT of bullshit.

Hahaha In the wikipedia article cited above the “grays” are shown in a Roswell UFO museum as being green!

My opinion of any “alien” that has two arms, two legs, two eyes, etc. like a human is as follows: If there is other intelligent life in the universe, why would it have to be shaped like a human? Why not some other shape? Maybe a blob. Maybe a car shape. Maybe something we can’t imagine. Why shape like a human? Just too much of a coinkie-dink that of all the forms it could possibly be, it would be formed like a human.

??

After seeing the Wikipedia article, I can say without doubt the greys are fictional. Truth. Done.

– Ok . . .

“If they’re really seeking immortality as I claim, it would be foolish to say another civilization has shared with them the way to do it.”
– What do you mean? You mean an Earth civilization having a way for Greys to gain immortality, and sharing it with the Grays? Is someone saying that? I do agree that sounds perhaps even more weird than the whole idea of the Greys, or even of them wanting that in the first place, but why are you even mentioning that?

luigirovatti's avatar

@Zaku: There are people who are voiced to live forever, yogis like Mahavatar Babaji for example. Also, the philosopher’s stone. Sharing it with the greys is totally speculation, I won’t comment on that.

It’s all made up. The Greys don’t exist. Neither do any extraterrestrial UFOs for that matter.
