Is there any development of treatments or diagnosis of schizophrenia?

Rather than list the many citations, I suggest you do a search on “new treatments for schizophrenia” yourself because a wealth of material comes up.

I don’t know the answer to your question. However I had to say something about the two comments above because it’s a pet peeve of mine. Schizophrenia is not the same as multiple personality disorder. They do not experience two different minds.

Thank you @anniereborn, I wanted to write the same thing but didn’t. Split personality is the same as dissociative identity disorder (DID) which is very different from schizophrenia.

It’s surprising that in 2025 the myth of schizophrenia = multiple personality disorder persists.
