Thoughts on the people in gaza expressing hate toward Hamas?

As seen in these videos from a couple news organizations it seems that people in gaza are standing up to Hamas the terrorist organization that has been fighting with Israel. I personally think that this could lead to a collapse and bring an end to Hamas and all the terror that these degenerates caused. What do you think?

Typical behavior of a propaganda system committing genocide.

After decades of the most brutal inhuman treatment by an apartheid state in which even considering Palestinians as human beings was unthinkable, we’re now getting coverage of Palestinians as people with agency – and the narrative happens to be one that supports the war criminals?

Well, I have seen the videos and watched heard Palestinians. Yes, there were people there who made anti-Hamas chants. Palestinians are not one thing. They’re human beings. But to suddenly pretend that their voice matters because they voiced disapproval of Hamas is complete bullshit.

The time to care about the voice of the Palestinians was when they were driven from their land, tortured, starved, and murdered.

The time to care about Palestinians was when you sat silently while Western governments – the US in particular – facilitated and funded war crimes against a captive population.

Israel is a terrorist state that has been committing the worst crimes against humanity, and has been funded by and supported (politically) by the US. The word “terrorist” doesn’t get to be uttered by a citizen of the US unless they are attempting to put an end to their own terrorism.

Zionism is not only a threat to Palestinians – it’s one of the largest threats to the US. We’ve have people being kidnapped in the streets of the US by masked agents for the crime of speech. What kind of speech? Opposing Israel.

So, let’s stop talking about Hamas, since Hamas is not the problem. It’s also not something that you can eliminate without murdering everyone (and that includes murdering people in the US). Most people I know would be considered “Hamas sympathizers” because that’s a propaganda tool used by fascists. It’s a way to disappear people who dissent. And that’s here. What if you were born into apartheid, have been violated your whole life, watched your family die and your land turned to rubble as the whole world sat silent. What is the appropriate and reasonable attitude to have towards your oppressors? Whatever that is will be labeled “Hamas” and worthy of destruction, and justification for endless crimes against humanity.

What @hat said.

Before it was “they voted for Hamas; they deserve it”. Now suddenly what Palestinians think matters. It’s incredibly cynical.

What do you think is going to happen? Palestinians are going to side with Israel and decide that the complete razing of Gaza is a good thing because they don’t like Hamas anymore? Of course some Palestinians are going to be dissatisfied with Hamas. But it doesn’t matter. “Eradicating Hamas” is just a pretext for ethnically cleansing and eventually annexing Gaza.

We already knew that….why does a video change that, after everything bad already happened?

About 20 years to late. They loved Hamas when Hamas fed them. They were willing to overlook Hamas terrorism when they had jobs and protection.

Now the mask (haha Hamas still wears masks out of fear) has been pulled off and Hamas’ incompetence is becoming clear. And the Gazans, who had no compunction about supporting Hamas for 20 years – are now rebelling.

My answer – Gazan = Hamas.

Many of the people in these videos may not survive the week due to indiscriminate bombing by Israel.

The Jews violently resisted their Nazi oppressors in Hitler’s ghettos. Their violent resistance did not justify the genocide of the Holocaust. I don’t support Hamas, the taking of civilian lives or hostages. It’s wrong and evil. But any wrongs committed by Hamas are a tiny fraction of the evils visited by Israel and the US upon the Palestinian people with nearly a century of oppression, violence, rape, torture, theft, murder, genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid. All evils Hamas commits are ultimately the responsibility of the occupying power under international law. The Palestinians have the right to violently resist oppression. Israel is an evil terrorist state.

Also, let’s not forget that we have Trump right now because of the DNC’s willingness to support genocide. Israel got the president they wanted in Trump.

I think it’s brave of them. They probably feel like Gaza is so miserable now it is worth the risk to go out and protest.

Just because they protest against Hamas does not mean they want a solution to make peace with Israel. Most Palestinians want the River to the Sea for the Palestinians and want the Jews to leave. Jews are welcome as tourists/visitors is what they usually say. Of course there are some Palestinians who want peace with the Israelis in some form or another, but it seems that is the minority unless we believe they simply don’t speak freely and feel they have to say all the land should be Palestine and Palestinian.

I saw a video from Gaza asking individuals who they want to control Gaza and they said everything from Israel to an international coalition to the Palestinian Authority.

@flutherother Or, be killed by Hamas. Hamas doesn’t take kindly to protests against their leadership.

Maybe they finally came to their senses and got tired of being human shields? It won’t matter, though. Hamas will likely kill some and the rest will shut up again.

There will always be people who side with their enemy in hopes they will be spared, and there will be those who see both sides as being wrong because they feel neither side offer a real solution only carnage.
