Do MAGA-ites and republicans ever do anything to improve and enhance quality of life, or is their goal do diminish and destroy?
Looking at the headlines of the last couple weeks, it seems like the right wing MAGA get enjoyment from destruction and disrespect of the American way of life. They would rather tear down and rip apart, then enhance and improve?
Do you think that’s their goal – to destroy America? Or is that simply a by-product of their ideology?

Similar to them closing schools and businesses when forced to desegregate, they will destroy something out of spite.
The current batch of Republicans are following Trump, who is clearly on an agenda from Russia, and also following the Project 2025 Christ-o-fascist xenophobic agenda. (And other targets of the nutty narratives they’ve been cultivating.)
He might inadvertently do something that has some positive effects for someone other than America’s foes, the ultra-rich, certain industries and companies, flunkies, ICE power junkies, and evangelical clergy, but I can’t think of anything I would consider positive.
The MAGA crowd tells themselves they are improving things, they don’t notice the destruction. If they do they think what is being destroyed is for good and justified to set things right.
While they destroy education they think they are helping it.
While they destroy parts of government they think they are improving it.
While they make life harder for some people they think those people deserve it.
