Can we agree that, for good or bad, the Trump presidency will be historically important?

Hopefully we don’t end up in a depression or a war.

The first three months have been a whirlwind of change, that’s for sure, and not necessarily in a good way. He insists the economy is going to boom. I’m waiting for the big miracles to happen, and I don’t see them on the horizon. Trump lovers hold out hope. Let’s see.

He will be historically important for nearly single handedly destroying America.

It is good to be POTUS, it is better to be King . . . .

Sure we can all agree on that but why does it matter?

Kings can have people beheaded, tax the serfs and shit in your drinking water well.

Or cut off funding to “liberal” colleges, sic the DOJ on law firms that oppose his actions and lay-off 100,000 people in the. USDA

All very bad for USA and the world.

It will most certainly be historically important. He is doing many things to fundamentally change the US as well as our relationship in the world. My personal view is that much of it was long overdue. But we will see how things all end up in the end.

That is like asking if Charlie Manson was historically important. It truly does not matter.

If he is remembered it will be as a warning, not an example.

I agree with @flutherother. Why you shouldn’t elect a madman who wants to be King of the World. But apparently we learn nothing from history. It wasn’t even 100 years ago that we got rid of another madman and it was all forgotten.

On this tiny rock flying through space, everything is important and not important simultaneously.

Nature documentaries have more historical significance than what some evil humans do.

Capturing lions mating is more important than anything a politician does.

When a politician decimates a retirement fund that someone paid into for a lifetime, that might be higher up on the historical significance scale than a documentary of lions mating, @Blackberry.
