So far two children have died from not being vaccinated against measle have parents who say they don’t regret it.

I’m think if I was in their shoes I would regret it. How could you not? I mean, what if I believed my kid became autistic? I would still rather have a live kid than a dead one. I’m not saying the MMR shot causes autism. (My personal belief is that it may be that certain things like autism, just won’t display until after a certain age. Like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder or type 1 diabetes.)

I’m just pointing out that there would certainly be regret. I would hate myself forever thinking I could’ve prevented their death.

The parents are clearly ideologues. They simply don’t care about dead children because it was more important to have ideological purity than healthy children. That’s the mark of someone who has not one speck of humanity in them.

For my two cents, the kids are better off the dead. Because the parents would have eventually abused them, or killed them, or in some way damaged them.

Yea just simple cult-like behavior.
It’s unfortunate, but the only thing that matters is blindly following.

They believe in the greater good, which is basically their old 1940s paradise.

In their mind, it’s probably the way it’s meant to be or god etc.

I feel like this is like someone having a loaded gun laying out where a child could grab it and shoot themselves. Would that person say “I have no regrets?” Maybe, maybe not.
If so, they are idiots.
