How pathetic is the Shea Goodbye ceremony?

As a Yankee fan I can’t help but chuckle. The Mets seem pretty sad right now.

Any Met fans out there? How do you feel?

OK, Shea was not a pretty stadium. For tradition, it can’t touch the hem of Yankee Stadium or Fenway or Wrigley Field. But, it holds some wonderful memories for a lot of fans including the Miracle Mets.

I’m a Yankees fan, but I have to admit, the new Citi Field looks pretty impressive. The best thing that ever happened in Shea was when the Beatles played there.
