It’s not really a book report so much as a packet, but I need some websites that could help me. It’s Lord Of The Flies…and yes I have read it. I’ve tried spark notes and cliff notes online, but they just aren’t helping

What is a packet? You’re not looking for us to do your homework for you again, are you? If you really read Lord Of the Flies what the hell good are cliff notes going to do for you? This one is starting out highly suspicious.
No I don’t want you to do my homework. Lord of the Flies is the most confusing book I’ve ever read and I need some help filling out my packet.
It’s hard to explain. Like I have to fill out plot details, character development, symbolism and important quotes. It is bloody hard for me to figure out the symbolism and stuff. I’m smart and all, but it’s just really hard. Plus, I have ADHD and it’s hard for me to focus so it makes the book even harder to understand
no the day after tomorrow. I have a bit done, I’m just having trouble with the rest
I don’t even understand exactly what kind of information you’re looking for that couldn’t be found on sparknotes OR cliff’s notes BUT I will give you the benefit of the doubt: check out gradesaver.com. It’s mostly the same material, but maybe it’ll help…
the best way to answer the packet then is to get together with some friends from that class and do the packet together. cliffnotes and sparknotes are probably your only reliable sources for it, but you should also google “Symbolism in Lord of the Flies” and “Lord of the Flies literary analysis” to get other sites that will help.
edit – lord of the flies character development
i’m really having trouble with character developments
What’s so hard about the character developments in LotF? The kids are stranded on an island, they go insane with hunger and power, they kill Piggy, end of story.
I’m just being rude. Really, try those suggested Google searches PnL mentioned. This book is one of the most analyzed of all literary works, it shouldn’t be too hard to find character development ideas.
@fireside:this isn’t about my adhd I have meds for that and a hypnosis tape. can we please stay on subject
Wikipedia has a good summary and touches upon the areas you mentioned. If you read the story it could help you. If you didn’t really read it, it will probably confuse you more. It is an important and compelling classic and is one that should have been openly discussed in the classroom. Did you miss a session or two?
no I read it all and I read some chapters twice. oh well
@ comedian – your question had already been answered IMO. If you don’t have enough to go on from the assistance above as you seem to indicate with your “oh well” then you should maybe post some more specific questions or do as PnL suggested and find some study partners, or tell the teacher that you need help after school tomorrow.
@Gail:I did. And I did finish both really without you lot’s help. It’s not a habit. It is a question. Another name is curiosity.
@Fireside: I meant oh well as in oh well I’ll ask my teacher for help tomorrow. I finished also. Again without your lot’s help.
If you find us lot so unhelpful, stop asking us questions. There were a number of very specific sites that we lot provided for you on the Abiotics issues. Flutherers found them, and you thanked them at the time.
Oh my gosh. It’s not that I don’t find you helpful, it’s just I figured it out on my own. I thought I needed your help, but it turns out I didn’t. So, just for you Gail I won’t ask questions like that (just to let you know I am rolling my eyes(mostly out of frustration))
@Comedian; you can’t have it both ways. You got lots of very useful info here also, along with some well-deserved ragging.
whatever. I’m done. Feel free to keep nagging, but I’m done
@Comedian….Once again you have it wrong: You are a nag that received some well deserved ragging…no one is nagging you for anything, just telling you to get a life and do your own damn homework!
Ragging= teasing, making fun of.
Comedian you are coming across as a truculent child, but then, that is what you are isn’t it? If you want help, you need to act in a mature manner, and not have tantrums when people take you to task for being silly.
