LOL don’t mock me scamp! ;)
Rob Zombie’s Hellbilly Deluxe
Nirvana’s Nevermind
Marilyn Manson’s Lest We Forget
Sorry, couldn’t just pick one…
Not mocking you! I enjoyed it yesterday. That why I told you to turn it up.:D
I’m with DrasticDreamer… any tool CD, except maybe Opiate. Their music is so multi-leveled, I hear something new almost every time I listen to them.
Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue
but I’ve also been on this Goldfrapp kick lately…Black Cherry seems to be getting me through the day.
It’s just rare that I come across a CD that never gets old. Even all the other old NKOTB stuff does, but this one doesn’t. I used to be that way with…And Justice For All by Metallica too.
Warren Zevon: The Wind
Warren Zevon: Genius
Stevie Ray Vaughn: In Step
Dark Side of the Moon, Pink Floyd
@deaddolly: To each his own, remember. I listen to everything. My roommate found it interesting that while he was riding in my car with my Zune on random, he heard Culture Club and Marilyn Manson back to back.
@poofandmuck…I know, I know. I just haven’t heard them mentioned in ages….lol I love random mixes!
Hot Fuss The Killers
The Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy or Who’s Next The Who
Unstoppable 4:2:Five
SuperMouse – OOoo Hot Fuss, nice choice. The Killers are hosting SNL this Sat.
Agreed with sndfrQ! Kid A runs a close second in Radioheadland.
@Bri, thanks for the heads up, I’m going to tivo it!
Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos
Glenn Gould’s Goldberg Variations
Handel’s Messiah
Handel’s Water Music
Oooh, Handel’s Messiah. Fabulous. [makes mental note to download that onto the Zune]
The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me, by Brand New
Not a CD but right now I seem to play “Seasons of Love” from RENT over and over.
Joni Mitchell: Blue
also agree on the Miles Davis Kind of Blue
Do ya wanna dance sung by Bette Midler
I would definitely have to say Hold On Now, Youngster by Lois Campesinos.
None. I have to listen to them all; and some sound better at different times than others depending on my mood or the weather.
Trouble in the Hen House – The Tragically Hip
E Von Dahl Killed the Locals – The Matches
Sticks and Stones – New Found Glory
Wolves in Wolves’ Clothing – NoFx
To name a few!
Close to the Edge….Yes
Tales From Topographic Oceans…..Yes
Bridge Across Forever…..Transatlantic
Deadwing….Porcupine Tree
Abbey Road by the Beatles
@stratman37 I think that would work for me too. I consider it one of the best, ever. Great for singalong.
Built to Spill’s Perfect From Now On. Trust me once you try it, you won’t believe it.
Sade- Lovers Rock
Wicked The Musical
My Prince Playlist
The Killers- Sawdust
Brandi Carlile-The Story
All of Mozart’s Concerti for French Horn
And all of his chamber music for clarinet (Trio, Quintet and Concerto)
Schubert Trout Quintet and Death and the Maiden
Beethoven’s Waldstein Sonata played by Vladimir Horowitz.
Don Giovanni, Magic Flute, Marriage of Figaro, Barber of Seville
(And the four mentioned by Marina. I heard the Water Music today in the car. Also saw the Great Blue Heron…a moment of perfection.)
There is not one that I would never tire of. I love many different types of music, but all of it wears me out if I hear too much of it, in too small a time frame.
Dark Side of the Moon – Pink Floyd
The Very Best of Cat Stevens
Everyone’s in Everyone – Patrick Park
The Lord of the Rings Soundtracks
Paint the Sky with Stars – Enya
When the World Was Wide – Trouble in the Kitchen
it depends on my mood
it could be:
Ella Fitzgerald (any)
Norah Jones (come away with me)
Chris Botti (The duets)
Peter Cincotti (any)
Michael Bubble (any)
Sade (lover’s live)
The Police (greatest hits)
Oasis (any)
Blur (any)
Paramore (any)
Avril Lavigne (any)
Armin Van Buuren
Tiesto
Paul Van Dyk
Fragma
4 strings
Dj Encore
Nirvana
Limp Bizkit
Korn
I can keep going all day long….
@flameboi I like your taste in music!
another vote for Radiohead’s In Rainbows
also, The Shins’ Wincing the Night Away.
@justinheckman, my roommate is a huge radiohead fan. no matter how often he plays it i just can force myself to like it
all of paul simon though the best of all is Graceland
call me corny, the guy’s infinitely creative and never stops
Oh, ugh, erm, my music tastes swing daily, if not hourly. I guess…my collection of songs from ‘The Flashbulb’, if I had to pick one album it would be Kirlian Selections as I’ve listened to that more then enough and it’s just so wonderfully created. ‘tis beautiful to the ears.
Misfits – American Psycho
i actually JUST started to get tired of Pretty.Odd. i will not deny how hard i fell for that album.
lately, i’ve rediscovered my love for It’s Wide Awake It’s Morning (bright eyes), and haven’t listened to much besides it.
