What kind of oil do I need to care for Bamboo cutting boards?

It calls for mineral oil but I'd so rather use canola or olive because I already have them.

i ended up finding it on my own and they say that canola or olive oil will go rancid and give your food a rancid taste so i think i'll have to bite the bullet and get food grade mineral oil

anyone know where i can find it?
