Same as chocolate: the darker the better! Start with Guinness.
I myself am a big fan of Leinenkugel's. Great smooth taste!
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I was always a fan of Henry Weinhard's, especially the ale. Now that I live in New Zealand, I drink mostly Speight's. It's the best, where by best I mean cheap yet still palatable.
@mirza: I know you spelled "bear" correctly on your question. I was just tweakin' ya. :^D
I am a fan of Bass....but I am not commited to one type. I am a firm beliver that variety is the key to enjoyment....right now I am drinking a Blue Moon and my next one will be a Red Stripe.
America's oldest brewery, Yeungling. Sam Adams also has an excellent seasonal (winter I believe) White Ale which was the smoothest beer I ever had.
Turbo Dog. Fermented swamp water straight outta Lousy-ana.
My wife's fav is Blue Moon.
When someone else is buying.
Aventinus Weizenbock, Kostritzer schwarzbier, Cooper’s sparkling ale, Cooper’s stout, Singha, Duvel, Pilsener Urquell, Schneiderweisse, Fuller’s ESB, Orval, Samuel Smith’s Imperial stout.
IPA…the more hops, the better.
The best beer is the beer that you like the most. Don’t be intimidated by friends or others who say that their beer is superior or better in some way.
I don’t care what kind it is. If it comes out of one of those tap things behind a bar and the glass is huge and frosted over I’m happy.
that is, I recall being happy about it
