Do you want a biased or neutral crowd?
@Gail, why not post both? ;) You may earn yourself some Lurve.
Probably Neutral…basically somewhere to watch it respectfully, without a bunch of angry people
@Bronx; I haven’t been in Mid-Manhattan bars in years but know that there are neighborhoods with predictable political leanings. The bars on Third Ave. that cater to the St. Paddie’s day crowd will attract a different audience than those on the upper West Side or upper East Side. Probably between 5th Ave and East Side Drive from 76th to 57th St. will get reasonably polite folks, but don’t consider this gospel.
Articulate folks are feeling very articulate about the election, on both sides of the aisle. What alcohol will do I don’t know. How about a friend’s apartment?
What’s Lurve got to do with it, anyway?
@gail – just wanted to know what you suggested for both crowds. Thanks for posting =)
@Bronx: Sorry for the snark. I had a bad day and am metaphorically now in my cranky box. G
@gail, I’ve known a bad day or two myself, so no worries dear. Among Flutherites we are always cool =)
