What do you use the 'starred' section of Google Reader for?

Asked by queenzboulevard (2553points) October 6th, 2008

This is personal preference. Do you use it to store long term? Or do you do long term with tags? Do you use it for short term? As in things you want to remember to read later in the day.

i use it to star recipes i like from the cooking blogs i subscribe to. when a new recipe pops up that looks good, i star it – then when i want ideas about what to cook, i just check my starred section.

I use it to store artices long term. I read 1000+ articles per week – related to gaming, tech, politics, zen habits, news in general…

I also like to star things I want to come back to read later.

Like squirbel, I also use it to mark stuff to read later. I mostly use reader at work, and mark stuff, like video games or fashion, that is interesting, but that I don’t have time for.

I post interesting links in my LiveJournal on Thursday night/Friday morning and Sunday night/Monday morning every week. I star items I want to share.
