Redundant = duplicate, specifically regarding functionality
Abundant = more than necessary, overflowing
Not at all the same.
The holiday feast featured an abundant table overflowing with great food.
The house cleaning service proved to be redundant, because the tenants did an excellent job of making the apartment pristine before they moved out.
