How should i post my questions in a better way?

Asked by Mtl_zack (6781points) October 13th, 2008

recently, many of my posts have come off as sexist. i do not intend for them to be sexist, but obviously, they can be interpreted in more than one way.

maybe its a freudean slip, or maybe im just too inexperienced to understand what some people like to hear and what they dont want to hear.

either way, im sorry about the way my questions are being delivered, but i really want them to be answered, because they are serious questions that i need to know the answers to. isnt that what fluther is all about?

i bet, if you met me outside of the internet, you would understand that im not a cruel, selfish, sexist, as my posts have portrayed me.

once again, im sorry

any suggestions on how i can express my thoughts in a non offensive way would be appreciated.

That’s not a question.

is there a particular reason why that “recently, many of your posts come off as sexist?” having any problems and maybe just in need of someone to talk to?

Start by eradicating “slut” from your vocabulary.

Yeah.
“Tramp” is a much better term.

…or “whore of Babylon”.

I don’t understand. Why do the whores of Babylon like giving BJs?

I have not even noticed it, Mtl_Zack so maybe it is not as bad as you think.

Yeah, I thought it was just that one question (re: blowjobs). We all make mistakes sometimes. Just don’t refer to women as “sluts”, and you’ll be fine…
