As a child, what name did you and your parents use to refer to your privates?

The clinical term: penis.

I used pee pee and rear or back end. Wow regs you must have been a very advanced child!

I believe it was privates and behind.

As my dad was a physician, penis, testes, scrotum and rectum. My dad never gave us the "birds and bees" talk, but rather directed us to appropriate reference books on his shelf. Which certainly put a kibosh on thoughts of reckless conduct when you came to some of the photos of advanced stages of venereal disease. As a pre-teen, I had no idea what my peers were talking about on the playground, as I had no idea what the slang terms meant. If they had been discussing terms like "mons veneris," "labia majora," "phallus," "coitus" and "clitoris," I could have followed the discussion. It was virtually impossible for me to "talk dirty" as I lacked the requisite vocabulary.

I don’t remember what we called them when I was a kid.

With my kids, privates and behind when they were little, then correct term and butt as they got older.

According to my 3, soon to be 4 year old, daughter, her brother has a “tail in front” while she has a “butt”
