What's your favorite beach vacation destination?
I want to go somewhere with a beach for a week next spring. I was thinking maybe the Greek islands, but I wanted to see what you guys had to say about it. What’s your favorite place to go?

So as a first.If I have a money than mine favorite beach to visit is golden coast in Australia.Why that one because big waves are in there and sharks.My financial situation is not as good as some one than i would chose A Tenerife island/
I’m a college student so for spring break my fraternity goes to panama city or st joe beach When I’m with my fiancé and it’s just going to be us then destin or ft Walton beach bc of it’s decent price and less party scene compared to PC

Beaches are as unique as fingerprints. It depends on what you like: deserted beach, crowded beach where people can see and be seen, a place with a lot of nightlife, good swimming beach, surfing.
Here is a really cool site that lets you pick the continent or country, and they list the top three beaches. (The link I provided goes straight to Greece.)

Greece! Been there twice and loved it! The beaches, the people, the food, the atmosphere, the culture, historical sites…....the reasonably priced jewellery…..
@Judi: the vacation house we rented was less than 5-minute walk from Stewart Cove. Nice tours they have.
Best shark dive ever! and great photographer.
If money was not a factor, then I would definitely choose the Bahamas. Stateside, I would choose somewhere in the Gulf, like Fort Walton Beach, Seaside or Freeport.
