Will you share a crazy dream you've had recently?

Asked by SuperMouse (30853points) October 15th, 2008

Last night I dreamed that I was helping Steve Carrell overcome his addiction to huffing. We were at a wedding and he was none too happy that I wasn’t letting him have his spray cans. Have you had any strange dreams lately?

I dreamed that the forums on all computers posed the question,
What would happen if the silent majority voted no to both canidates? Amazingly 20 silent majority from one forum went to all the forums they went on and shared the question, there 20 others went to all the forums they went to, before I knew it every forum in the US had gotten the message, when I woke up word was out all over the country and the silent majority went to the polls and won a landslide victory.

I never remember dreams except for what I call “silver platter dreams”. Where my subconscious has been working on the dream for a long time, cooking it up, and decides to present it to me. I have about two of them per year. This is one of them:

My tooth was loose (in the dream not real life). I reached into my mouth and pulled it out. It was a molar. It hurt, but not as much as it would have in real life to pull out a molar. The roots of the tooth were bloody. I wiped off the blood of one of roots. Inscribed into the root was a serial number.

I was on a drive with my parents. We stopped at a wedding. Not someone we knew, that I could tell. There was food coming out of the chandeliers. (new idea for weddings?) and then we left to continue our drive through an antique store (we didn’t break anything, but it was a convertible so we could stop and look at all the items). The carpet in the store was red and it was a winding, hilly store. I woke up and was sorry I didn’t know a) whose wedding it was, b) what was for dinner and c) why we had to leave before dancing!

Last night I had a series of strange dreams. In one that stood out for oddness, one of my relatives kept having children that had mixed human and dinosaur DNA. We were successful at hiding the ones in human form with dino characteristics, but the authorities kept trying to capture the dinosaur form ones with human characteristics. (They meant well, but kept roaring and destroying rooms and buildings.)

A bunch of my husband’s and my friends had come in from out of town for a celebration so i planned to hold it in the museum of natural history so that they could meet the dinosaur relatives without anyone noticing the oddity.

At the end of the dream, someone came and told me that my father had just purchased an island for $80,000 off the coast of Central America and was planning to take the dinosaur people there. I was so relieved.

Not “crazy” exactly, but when I was 6 I dreamed I was being chased by something and I ran over a cliff. It was a very long fall…
When I woke up in the morning, I was on the floor and under the bed.

A few nights ago I dreamed that Johnny Cochran was a doctor before he became a lawyer, and that he took me and my boyfriend on a tour of his hospital where he treated addicts, and crack babies, and people who got in knife fights, and all kinds of stuff. I thought he was pretty cool.

A few weeks ago I dreamt that I was going on a road trip with Alice Cooper. We were trying to find people to come with us, because we had this big VW bus and had all these extra seats, but no one wanted to come with me and Alice. I thought that was pretty strange, but we went on our trip. It was awesome.

When I woke up, it took me forever to figure out why I was imagining myself being pals with Alice Cooper. Before I fell asleep, there was one of those “Craziest Concert Moments EVER” shows on VH1, and Alice Cooper was one of the last ones I saw. All I can say is thank God it was Alice Cooper, and not Marilyn Manson. Ugh. That would have been freaky.

@Les I’ll go. Alice Cooper was always great in concert, and he was a very atypical rocker—a quirky, bright guy.

La_chica_gomela: I think the question was about dreams not dates.

JVGR, I think your jokes suck.
