what does it mean when you’re making out with a girl, and she turns to you and says that she doesnt want to get into a relationship because she just got out of a really bad one. i know she wasnt in a relationship before, so i know she’s lying. so why would she go around making out with people without wanting to get in a relationship?

Maybe things aren’t as simple as you think they are, Zack. Your definition of “just got out” and hers may be very different. She may have “just gotten out of a relationship” that ended 6 months ago. Don’t just assume she’s lying, and even if she was, maybe she just plain doesn’t want to go out with you.
Making out does not a relationship make.
“Making out” and relationship aren’t necessarily related. You can do one without the other.
It sounds like she doesn’t want to get into a relationship because she just got out of a bad one.
I am basically an idiot when it comes to relationships, but one thing I have learned is that when someone tells you something completely unambiguous, s/he is saving you a lot of guesswork.
Why are you so certain she didn’t recently get out of a relationship? Isn’t she in a better position to determine that than you are?
Regardless if she is lying or not, she has made her feelings about a relationship very clear.
Zack – I’m wondering how you know that she wasn’t in a relationship before and is lying?
I thought that described an 18-year-old guy’s dream: a girl who will make out with no strings?
OK, cynicism aside. Do not try to figure it out or do your own investigating, take it that she is saying she does not want to have a relationship with you. I’m sorry.
When I was young it meant she was a slut, but I know the times they are a changin’
She wants to know if you are willing to take the challenge (why do girls love to do that!) nikipedia, say something about it
@flameboi: Sounds like a new thread to me….
@Niki
It is, can’t wait to see what you have to say about it :)
