Anybody else really creeped out by the Sinupret" commercial?
I cringe and want to change the channel but every once in a while I nubberneck at the freak show. I need to get outside more.

i haven’t seen it. can you provide a link to it? (it’s probably on youtube?)
If that’s the commercial with the little girl and her mom then I’m with you.
“I love you.”
“I love you more.”
“No. I love you more…”
Bleech!
I hadn’t seen that one before.
But I agree, creepy.
You know which commercial’s been bugging me though?
That one where the girl is driving in a car, then there’s a sudden downpour of shoes.
She runs outside and starts scooping them up like crazy.
I mean, what the heck is she so excited about?
What are the chances that she is going to find:
1) a matching pair
2) in her size
3) and in a style that she actually likes
Bah!
Good points, Nimis.
It also bugs me because apparently women only buy huge gas guzzlers so they have enough storage space for all of their shoes…
Good song in the shoe commercial though.
Ew, both of those commercials made me want to barf. The first one, I was sitting there thinking, what is this stuff called? so i can remember to NOT buy it, ever.
Then the second one, blech, are you sure they didn’t write the plot for that in 1952, and just get around to making the commercial now? I especially hated the part where the hot dog guy laughed at her. They were both such dumbasses.
That first one reminds me of this
I just found Ellie Grace less creepy than either of those two commercials.
That probably makes me odd, doesn’t it?
I don’t know which is worse. The fact that there exists some ad agency exec who pitched the idea (and thought it was good enough to pitch) OR the company exec who looked at the pitch and thought, “hot damn! What a great idea!”
Yes!!! I saw this commercial the other night and shook my head – dismissing the creepiness for just a cultural difference.
Yes! This commercial totally creeps me out! As a matter of fact, that’s why I googled it. I wanted to see if anyone else was creeped out by it, or if there was just something wrong with me.
Let’s see, a mother and daughter lying in a field, season after season, never moving. All they’re missing is headstones.
Creepy for sure, when loving a child means giving her drugs… and the basis for her decision to do so is because people in Europe have been giving drugs to their kids for 30 years. It is a painfully poorly written commercial. However, there are people out there who will be completely taken in by it.
There is a huge problem with this society and advertising drugs of any kind, that we are creating a culture of hypochondriacs who rely on pills instead of common sense!
I know why its creepy!!! The woman NEVER blinks!!!
