I haven’t seen a lime in a restaurant or store for a long time. What gives? Where did all the limes go?

They are, apparently, all in the produce section of my supermarket.
Where have all the good limes gone… what a great song.
They got fed up with the Bush administration and have been living in Tahiti I look for their return in groves sometime after the election.
I see limes everyday. Hmmm?
Laissez rouler les bons limes.
They’re in Britain, silly. :0)
I came upon this same problem. Although, when I split open a coconut it all became clear. Someone had put the lime in the coconut on a major scale.
@bodyhead: groooooooooooan. Lurve, but groan.
When you find a lime (look harder) be sure to microwave it for 10 seconds before squeezing the juice out.
Thats the end of my Martha Stewart advice..
Kermit was too busy getting stoned with Big Bird.
they are sitting in the top of my bottle of Sol.
Disease….Lyme disease….
Ha…. I kill me!!!!
Boffin; if you have ever had to remove an embedded and bloated lyme tick from you or your pet; take a course of antibiotics, or suffer from the disease, you might feel like killing yourself. (The tick larvae are this size . and hide in areas of the body where they are very difficult to find.)
They are a scourge in the NE US. Every time we come inside, we have a tick inspection. They are now around even during the cold months if the snow has melted.
I took two off my cat yesterday – one was crawling around and the other was attached and so engorged that I thought the cat has a new spot of black fur. It took serious tugging with a special tweezer to get the thing off (like a large, squishy black grape.)
I went to the grocery store and asked, there is a lime shortage, and a sign in the store indicating as much. I’ll see if I can’t get a pic of it soon.
