Hot Fuss is not new. They have 3 albums out; hot Fuss was the first.

hahaha, yeah they’ve had sam’s town and sawdust since that album…but yes, it is a great album.

This is about 4.5 years too late…

Yeah, I’ll echo that, I bought it in I think ‘04, whatever year it was released on the basis of “Somebody Told Me”, which I still really like. I however thought the rest of the album sucked. Kind of had the same experience with Maroon 5’s “Songs About Jane”...really liked “Harder to Breathe” and was abysmally disappointed in the rest of the album.

I love Hot Fuss – start to finish I like almost every single song. I was a bit less enthused about Sam’s Town, I love Read my Mind and a couple of other songs, but as a whole it just doesn’t stack up with Hot Fuss. I haven’t picked up Sawdust yet, but I plan to.

@Dalepetrie, “Songs About Jane” was bad?! That really bums me out, I have loved every single Maroon 5 has released and I was getting ready to make the leap and purchase them album, maybe I’ll wait.

i loved it. when it first came out i listened to it non-stop for weeks. i still like it. it’s greatness has faded, but i still have memories connected to some of the songs.

I still get “Andy, you’re a star” as a frequent earworm.

I liked it when it came out… still do.

Supermouse – since I didn’t like Hot Fuss either, you might like Songs About Jane, I was just expecting more oompf from both albums based on the lead off singles, and they both kind of fell flat for me

So, accepting that it isn’t new,

I love it.

The Killers are the first group since U2 (shows you how old I am) that I have every album of and liked every one all songs.

It falls apart after the first half, but it’s still a good album. Brilliant singles (Mr. Brightside, Somebody Told Me, etc.)
