I need a costume quick fix?
I am dressing as Marilyn Monroe for halloween, and I just bought my costume. I tried everything on and it fits very well and I look great. However I can’t wear a bra in the dress. I am quite comfortable with not wearing a bra, I got to goods, but you can see the goods through the dress.
What can I use to conceal my bits without compromising my cosutme?
I was thinking of using those large square shaped bandages that are flesh colored and putting them over my nipples….

Yeah, that or tape. Or tissue paper. None of which really sound comfortable…
I assume it’s strapless?
its like her classic white dress…. its a low backed halter top
Yeah, I would go with tissues. Or maybe cut up some white cloth?
I don’t have any other ideas… Good luck! :)
I would think Marilyn would have let them show, proudly.
i wouldnt dare disagree, however, showing off my goods to a room full of people i don’t know might not be so okay with my man lol
plus im not ready to have my nipples pasted all over facebook
True enough lacer, I think your first idea sounds do-able. Just remember, when you remove the bandaids, do it fast! That way it will only hurt for a second. :0)
sure enough, thats my biggest concern… its taking off the bandages only to find they have cohesively become part of my skin
Does the dress move a lot?
If not, what about putting the bandages on the dress instead?
Personally, I would go with a quickie lining on the dress.
that could be a possible solution… so lond as the banages dont leave glue on the dress
I used to sew for high school theater, and I have two options to suggest:
1) sew shoulder pads into the bust of the dress. This works the way the inserts in a bikini top work
2) Walmart sells flesh color adhesive bras. They are like bra cups, and They stick to your skin. They come off easily and are reusable.
They sell many different kinds of aids for this (mostly of the pastie variety) at Victoria’s Secret and the lingerie department of chain department stores such as Macy’s and Dillard’s.
Here is a collection of such items.
Here is one in particular that sounds like what you’re looking for, “floral shaped adhesives”.
Trust me, these things are a lot more comfortable than band aids, wearing and removing.
