Are people on this site helping to Get Out the Vote?

I volunteered to work for the Elections department at the polls this year.

I’ve told my employees that if they bring me an “I voted” sticker at our staff meeting, they’ll get a prize. I also sent out an e-mail about early voting.

I told everyone Dont Vote

I am planning on it but still haven’t worked out what I am doing. I hear rumors that Nevada is flooded with volunteers. Everything else involves flying, which I am open to doing. I was on Obama’s site for quite a while today and I found it difficult to navigate and figure out where all of the campaign offices are. I wish they had a list so I could check it out, see where I would have a place to stay, and set something up. I hope a lot of people volunteer.

I’m driving folks to the polls Nov. 4.

As part of my union’s political action committee I will be manning the phone banks again later this week.
As for getting my own vote out, I’m happy to say I’ve already voted. Kudos to me.

I’m working at the polls too. As the day wears on, there will be a collaborative effort to phone those (of all parties) who haven’t voted and offer them a ride to and from election site.

Nope. If Diddy’s “Vote or Die” campaign doesn’t strike fear in their hearts than nothing I say will help. Oh, wait. Everyone go vote! There. I did it.

I am just encouraging everyone I know to vote, and presenting the facts when I hear the rumors (muslim, ACORN, etc…).

My boyfriend is taking off work to get out the vote in Indiana. I’m so proud of him!
