Bellini!

A Bellini is an internationally well-known long drink cocktail that originated in Italy. It is a mixture of sparkling wine (traditionally Prosecco) and peach purée often served at celebrations. It is one of Italy’s most popular cocktails.

My favorite, (that makes it look like I’m drinking when I’m not) is club soda with a splash of grenadine.

I enjoy a glass of milk with a dash (or more to taste) of Bailey’s irish cream.
Club soda and flavored vodkas or liquors.
My friend once enjoyed champagne and I think gin as a cocktail. It was… not appealing to me. (And she only enjoyed it once—it got her very drunk, faster than usual so she swore them off.)
Mint chocolate soda and bourbon. (You’d have to make the soda if you couldn’t buy it and that would be three.)
Dr. Pepper and bourbon.

Or you could go to cocktailbuilder.com and enter what you have on hand. It will give you what you can make and the number of ingredients requires.

Champagne and OJ. Mimosa?

My favorite is called Bourbon Renewal The Recipe? Drink two shots of bourbon….and the whole neighborhood looks better.

Shandy: 7-UP & lager/beer

(it sounds gross I know. Please try it before you pass judgement….)

MrItty's avatar

Cuba Libre
Gin & Tonic
Screwdriver
Vodka & Cranberry
Midori & Sprite
“Golden Cream”? I think? Guiness & a scoop of vanilla ice cream, at any rate.

Snoopy's avatar

@MrItty Ick. And I thought 7-Up and lager sounded gross!

Depending on whether you consider sour mix a single ingredient or three (lime juice, water, sugar) anything sour can qualify as a two-ingredient cocktail. Vodka sour, amaretto sour, whisky sour, etc.

breedmitch's avatar

These are all pretty good, but most of you listed one alcohol and one mixer. (The rules of the question allowed for this) What about drinks that only contain two alcohols?
Rusty Nail: Scotch and Drambuie

Snoopy's avatar

@breedmitch The question asked for cocktails w/ two ingredients.
I guess it is up to the asker to tell us if that means two alcholic ingredients or not…..?

Black & Tan—Guinness with Harp lager floating on top

I can’t believe we haven’t seen the classic Martini! Just gin or vodka and vermouth. Trivia alert! Bond took his with both gin and vodka. There are those that dispense with the vermouth, preferring them “dry”. Churchill said his preference was drinking a glass of cold gin while looking at a bottle of vermouth. Hitchcock prepared his with five parts gin and a quick glance at the vermouth bottle. General Patton suggested pointing the bottle in the direction of Italy.
I love this Dorothy Parker quote.

I like to have a martini,
Two at the very most.
After three I’m under the table,
After four I’m under my host!

gailcalled's avatar

@Soap: don’t Martinis have little, round pickled fruit floating in them? Doesn’t that change the statistics.

Love your references, BTW.

SoapChef's avatar

Ahhh, but that is a garnish. A lot of martini purists don’t want anything ruining their precious cocktail. Although olives are pretty standard, I believe early versions often had a twist or a thin lemon slice floating in them.

jessturtle23's avatar

Buttery nipple and appletini are all I can think of. I guess many different kinds of martini.

@mjoyce….
You get a great answer from me as I was going to offer the same suggestion.
