Can anyone tell me how to change the name that appears on my profile?

I believe you have to close your account and open a new one.

Yep, you’re you until you decide to start over. I think I read it in the help section of the site when they were explaining the policy on multiple accounts.

I believe you could ask a moderator to change it for you. I think Ich misspelled his (someone did, I think it was him) when we first got here and a moderator fixed it. I don’t know if they’d go in for a random change, but perhaps something with feisty still in it?

Use the Contact Link and nicely ask the admins/moderators if they could change your username. They will most likely help you, as long as you are polite!

Hang on to it, you’ll get mad again someday.
