How do you read Twitter?

Asked by Trustinglife (6671points) October 26th, 2008

Do you start from the most recent posts and work down? Or do you start from the last post you read and go up?

I guess it’d be relevant to know roughly how often you check Twitter too.

I check it literally every day. If I don’t check it through the internet I check it through SMS. :) I read from the last to the newest tweet.

I started twittering fairly recently. And it’s all richardhenry’s fault. He made cursebird as linked by JP and so while I was having fun staring at people bitch and complain about everyday life, I decided to activate my old account too. I read from last read post to up. I go there roughly once a day. I have yet to fall in love with the actual site though.

I start with the oldest and read toward the most recent. And I use TwitterFox. It’s set to check my Twitter list every three minutes, so as long as I’m online, I’m checking it.

is it not confusing to read all your tweets newest to oldest? as for using twitter’s actual site for this the consensus seems to be there are a no of sites especially designed to do this better…twitters actual design is not that great….frequent posters need to be checked once daily….
