Why on earth would someone buy a brand new car then plaster it with political bumper stickers?

I have a neighbor who brought home a very nice (read expensive) new car this weekend. She spent well over an hour carefully placing political bumper stickers all over the back of her new car.
I’m not a fan of putting stickers on a car anyway, but the election is in less than two weeks.

apparently she is really into the election and SERIOUSLY wants to she everyone who she supports. I’m one who doesn’t like bumper stickers on my vehicle but enjoy reading “silly” ones on others vehicles. i prefer the ones that make you laugh at.
I think the point is to show her allegiance, even if her candidate loses. I just put a political bumper sticker on the back of my brand new car. My motivation is to show that I believe this person should win, or if he loses, should have won. I believe in his ideas and what he says and I want people to know that, even if he loses.
Is it possible she has magnetic backs? you can buy the plain magnetics back to adhere to any stickers.

I put magmnets on my bumper stickers so I can take them off on the 4th.
@judi Me too. Impossible to get off otherwise. I still chuckle when I see a Bush sticker.
Ah! I don’t get this, at all! I won’t put a bumper sticker on a car, for any reason! Geez…get a window decal, a magnetic bumper “sticker”, but keep it off the paint!

I would think magnets would be the best choice too. Nope. She stuck them on there. If her old car is any indication, they’ll stay for the duration. I just can’t see spending $70,000.00 on a car and messing it up with stickers.
I love funny bumper stickers. I keep them on a bulletin board in my office. I don’t put them on my car.

Judi, the neighborhood isn’t so interesting. The people who populate it are definitely interesting. LOL
I put my Obama sticker on the hatch glass, gonna use a razor blade to take it off next month. My Stop the War Stop the Lies sticker is on my bumper cause it’s gonna be a while before I can take it off.
Because in the USA, election is all about who spends the most money on campaign and saying stuff about the opponent…
Bumper stickers go on my bedroom door or notebooks, or when I have space pc casings.
Magnetic bumper flair wins.
